We limit the number of dresses to 8 -10 and take the greatest care in fitting them to ensure that every garment is kept in the impeccable condition that we receive it in. Please note that these times have also been given to other bride-to-be's so will only be considered confirmed on receipt of proof of payment. Our dresses are either pre-worn by a bride, new from a designer or in house beautiful creations in standard sizes. One thing they all have in common is an exceptional pricing point. However, we in no way compromise on the bridal experience. Expect a premium bridal experience.

Appointment Information:
We charge R420 for the Gold fitting which will be 90mins. Look forward to fitting exquisite dresses and enjoying lovely refreshments including gin & tonic cocktails! 😊
We charge R750 for the Platinum fitting which includes a bottle of bubbly for you and your guests. You will also have all of the normal refreshment options.
We kindly ask that you consider only booking your appointment when you are seriously shopping and ready to find your gown. Please don’t mistake this request as “you aren’t welcome unless you purchase”. We are ferociously protective over our incredible collection of new, exquisite gowns which are sold off the rack. And we are serious about keeping them in pristine condition for our brides.
Due to the size of our showroom, we can only accommodate you and three additional guests in the fitting. We do not allow any photos during your appointment. Please make sure that your guests are also familiar with this policy as it will be strictly enforced. Furthermore, we DO NOT allow children or toddlers in the appointment due to risk of damage to dresses.
On arrival we will welcome you in and ask you to wash and sanitise your hands. We have hand sanitizer available all around the showroom.
We work by appointment only with a locked-door policy. When you visit us, you will have our entire showroom to yourself, not just a fitting area.
You will not encounter anyone else in your appointment. It will only be the stylist helping you in the appointment.
We ask that you make it in time for your fitting so that you can enjoy your full 90min appointment! We will need the critical cleaning time allocated between fittings and won't be able to run over into this time.
Suggestions for your fitting:
• Wear underwear that is a close match up your skin - G-strings are best
• Bring a clip or hair tie if you have long hair
• Wedding shoes aren’t necessary as we have a podium to help with dresses that are long.
Lastly, we have our own private parking right outside which is free, so you don't need to worry about touching parking ticket machines! We are in a Crossfire House, Unit 2B. The building is above the Lorenzo Marx coffee shop and directly opposite the Lionel Smit Art gallery.
We do not keep a catalogue for a number of reasons. For one, our stock turns incredibly quickly and we get new dresses weekly. Some of the dresses have never been photographed as they are designer one off samples. In other cases, the client who is selling her dress may be very private about her wedding pics. When we do use pictures, we always use professional photography.
At any point in time, we have between 200 – 250 dresses in store that are carefully curated by a master stylist. These are balanced across styles and sizes. If you would like to get an idea of the type of dresses we will have in stock we would recommend looking at our Instagram page @once_worn_bridal which will give you a great idea of what we stock. We would also recommend going through our Google reviews which will give many first-hand accounts of our stock and the experience as a whole.
We sell pre-owned as well as sample dresses which are sold off the rack. We are a sustainable brand and care about the planet (hence the reselling of second hand dresses).
We are also passionate about supporting local designers and so we are the exclusive stockist of @rosakaroobridal. These dresses are incredibly well made and the price point is very competitive. We are in the unique position to see many of the top designers in the country, and Rosa Karoo Bridal are competing in the upper echelon of bridal couture. Please have a look at their Instagram page @rosakaroobridal to get an idea of what their dresses look like. We stock their full range as well as their veils.
Rosa Karoo Bridal dresses can be made to order. They are available to purchase, with rental options as well. The full collection is available to fit in our store. Their dresses can be made in any standard size. Lead times are 3-6 months but rush orders can be arranged.
We have the most beautiful range of gowns from @rosakaroobridal which are the only gowns that are available to rent.

We work differently from other bridal stores because when you rent a gown from us we order a brand new dress for you that has never been worn before.
When the same wedding dress is rented out over and over again there is huge risk of permanent damage or alterations that can’t be undone leaving you disappointed and stressed, with little time to find an alternative before your big day.
We still plant a tree for your dress and after your wedding the dress is sold as a sample gown in our store.
Our stock is always changing so naturally prices do too.
We only accept high end bridal couture so you will never find cheap and nasty gowns in our Boutique. We sell pre-owned as well as sample dresses which are sold off the rack.
Our stock is always changing so naturally prices do too. Prices are around R 10 000 to R 95 000 with the majority being from R 15 000 to R 30 000.
We also stock a beautiful collection called @rosakaroobridal which are made-to-order from R 22 000 to R 35 000 to buy and are available to rent at 75% of the selling price. Rentals are all made brand new and then get sold as pre-owned after the wedding.
Pre-owned dresses sell for around 50% of their original price, new sample dresses from designers are at around 65% of their original price, so really big discounts!
